This is an area where data collection would be very useful. We
have very few acceleration numbers and even fewer for CE-III
reports.

The only one where we have even a guess at an acceleration for a
CE-III is Socorro. While the distances and times are a little
speculative, the numbers suggest an about 4G acceleration as the
upper limit. By contrast, the much smaller Marignane UFO
accelerated at 18G, and decelerated at some rather enormous
rate, with a maximum being 624G, the minimum (smooth
decleration, which is in contradiction to the witness report)
being -0.4G.
