It was actually posted to the SETI e-mail list. So far, I am the
only person on that list to deal with it (I posted an enhanced
version of my earlier message for UpDates).

I got a nice message off-list from a gentleman at NIDS and a
reply on-list from someone else that may have been (it was a
little ambiguous) a complaint that I was just whining about the
nasty scientists, and why was I posting this to a microwave SETI
list? (sigh)

I sent a brief comment about the intent being to critique the
methodology represented by the message and pointed out that both
SETI and UFO researchers can and should be united by an interest
in non-human intelligence.

So far, silence.
