You're quite right, John, they might!

I apologize for my boorish and completely uncalled for outburst.

I only met Mr. Bigelow once and found him quite likable. I have
never met you in person and have no reason to believe your
activities with NIDS are anything other than reasonable and

For reasons that we need not go into here, I _have_ been under
extreme stress the past month, as it turns out, and violated one
of my own e-mail rules -- never hit "Send" on an e-mail outburst
until you've had time to sleep on it. My patience for perceived
criticism is not very good these days.

The articles were of course published on their merit. You, I,
and Victoria know that. Unfortunately, that still leaves 4,997
other MUFON Journal readers. Maybe my point will become clearer
if you look at the type of articles the Journal is publishing
nowadays. Clearly, articles on forensic methodology don't appear
to be in very high demand, do they? That's what I meant about
the extended neck.

And now that I've relieved myself, again, my apologies for the
immature outburst. I am sincerely sorry to have wasted
everyone's bandwidth with it.

Know where I can get some valium on a Sunday?
