Dear John, Ron and/or Donald:

That's a tough order.

I have two Cave Creek,AZ incidents, one in recent years and one
on 14OCT47. The 1947 incident didn't involve a crash or even a
landing however. 2 pilots plus a third observer claim they saw a
3 foot "flying wing" headed to the Southeast at 380 MPH; at 8 -
10 thousand feet altitude.

Walt Andrus himself, as a child, and numerous others saw 4
silver saucers fly East to West, flipping over in sequence, on
15AUG1948. Again no crash or landing. MUFON Journal #197 and
also Ronald Story, Encyclopedia/UFOs.

I do have a saucer landing report at Tintown ( near Bisbee ) on
27JUN47, but that's far Southeast of Phoenix, while Cave Creek
is to the North. Ref. Lorenzen: F.S. the Startling Evidence,
paperback pg 17.

A Navy pilot reported the 30JUN47 incident, somewhere South of
the Grand Canyon. Here two 12-foot saucers made violent
maneuvers and landed. Ref. Vallee/Magonia case #59.

The only "crash" incident here, might be the well known case of
21MAY53. According to Leonard Stringfield, some engineer was
taken on a blacked out bus to a place he reckons was near
Kingman, AZ. He reported a 30-foot crashed saucer, plus a 4-foot
dead humanoid hidden in a military tent. See Stringfield:
Situation Red, page 208.

There is another mention in Jerome Clark's Encyclopedia (vol. 3
for 1960-1979) on page 131 if my records are correct. I believe
Raymond Fowler touched on it too, but cannot recall the exact
reference.

Hoping this helps..

- Larry Hatch
