NORAD's responsibility primarily deals with looking for craft
coming over the Artic and utilizes over-the-horizon radar and
other terrestrial based systems mostly in North America. It is
the US and Air Force Space Command that controls most of the
space-based military assets. A web search on each of these
departments will provide a great deal of information.

Speaking of information, I traced an apparently unlisted phone
number given by Stephens (406-745-3818) to Saint Ignatius, MT.
Saint Ignatius is about 30 miles north of Missoula. Also,
Internic indicates that the email address he used on newsgroups
(robert@digisys.net) originates in Kalispell, MT. His other
email address (STI3818@montana.com) does not return an id on all
reverse searches of that address. But note the use of the 3818
digits. Indeed, the URL www.montana.com is the state of
Montana's web site (go figure). Maybe he's doing some
consulting work for MT and set himself up a temporary email
address for this hoax.

BTW, Saint Ignatius is in the heart of the Flathead Indian
Reservation and near the National Bison Range. No wonder we
were so easily buffaloed by him. <ducking and running>

Hey, what ya wanna bet that he was involved in the EQ
Pegasi/Paul Dore hoax?!?
