Previously, Michael had wisely pointed out:

Hi Rebecca,

To my knowledge, no UFO whistle blower has ever come out with
any "secrets" that they can prove; therefore, the powers that be
probably would not want to inadvertantly validate such a
person's claims by publicly retaliating about something that is
not even supposed to exist. In short, the person poses no threat
without proof.

On the other hand, if someone DID have proof that would be
damaging to the powers that be, then it's quite likely that the
general public would never be allowed to even hear about that
person's existence. In such a case, the whistle blower in
question would have much bigger problems that "loss of pension",
if you get my drift.

Does this answer your question?
I really hope not...

Take care,

Roger Evans
