I don't think that there's any question that regulations are in
place that would allow for the loss of pension and health
benefits if a security oath is violated. Depending on the
incident, it might also involve prosecution and imprisonment.

A point was raised yesturday that any prosecution, or denial of
benefits, would serve to validate the statements being made as
true, so that is unlikely to happen when "black projects" (or
UFOs) are involved. Any breach involving national security at
that level would most likely be handled behind closed doors, and
those involved would be warned to not say anything about it in
public.

All this being said, it also provides someone who is trying to
gain attention (for whatever reason) a convenient excuse as to
why they "can't devulge details", or talk about it with those
who might ask too many questions. Many people have argued that
one way to get the "truth" out would be to change the
regulations and grant immunity to those who speak out about the
military's involvment with UFOs. However, I have to wonder if
this will bring forth more valuable information, or perhaps a
different set of reasons as to why they can't talk.

A few thoughts.
