Hi Sharon

>Mr Jones (Sean, if you will),

Sean's ok :-)

Er, no. It's a bit like bacon and eggs. One assumes that one
goes with the other, visa versa, but the fact is belief in
Christ is faith, religion is what the _moron's_ (or is that
mormons? <g>) have added to it.

>Wouldn't you say it's not religion that has caused strife, but

The image of strife is twofold. One the Crusades, that should
speak volumes for human stupidity. Two, The Roman Catholic
Church. How on earth (please excuse the pun) can the church have
so much money yet many thousands of its patrons are literally
starving. Massive injustice/imbalance there if you ask me.

Yes I see your point about it being the people involved, not
actually the _religion_ but if you ask me you get nutters in
every walk of life, hey look at Ufology. But with the church,
the _religious nutters_ always seem to be welcomed with open
arms.

>I don't want to get into a long drawn out unwinnable arguement
>with anyone, just curious of your opinion.

Long drawn out replies r us :-) NOT!

Seriously, I would _never_ force my opinion on beliefs in
_whatever_ down anyone's throat, but I do like to make it clear,
occasionally, my position.
