With all due respect, the validity of these documents needs to
be proven, rather than the reverse. As it now stands there is
no reason to believe that the documents are real, unless your
research has developed information that would support that
contention (which I somehow doubt, or you would have most likely
mentioned it).

To distribute them far and wide, and to discuss them in open
forums (such as the Art Bell program) serves to give the general
public an impression that they have been validated, which
certainly IMHO is not the case. I suspect that you will find
far more support for these documents among the X-File croud,
than you will among serious researchers (and I'm thinking of
those who work with FUFOR, CUFOS, and MUFON). Unfortunately,
this exemplifies some of the problems faced by UFOlogy today
(again, IMHO).

I look forward to any research information you have regarding
the MJ-12 documents, and sincerely hope that you can actually
prove that some of them are real. Greenwood's criticisms will
be publish soon, and you will certainly have many forums that
you can use to reply. But I wouldn't get too defensive about
the criticism that you receive from those within the ranks of
UFO researchers, since for most the MJ-12 issue was settled long
ago.

BTW, I would note that Bruce Maccabee has also released a
statement regarding the Oppenheimer/Einstein document, which
points to a number of flaws that call its validity into
question.
