BRAVO, Bill Chalker!

It is very refreshing to see that this fatal flaw in the new
majestic papers was detected by others. Barry Greenwood's
latest UHR discusses this alleged incident in full with
references. It is compelling documentation that the writers of
the new majestic papers, allegedly circa 1950s, were aware of
only the _PULP UFO_ literature from the mid 1960s - the only, I
repeat, the only place where this myth version of the Norfolk
Regiment tale appears, a truly majestic blunder by the creators
of these alleged documents.

>Paul Begg has documented his detail investigations of the 1915
>Norfolk saga in his book "Into Thin Air". Murray Bott of NZ has
>circulated some of the orginal 1965 New Zealand material.

Also, I may add the following reference for those that do not
have access to the book above:

Fortean Times 27, Autumn 1978, pps. 35-38, "The First-Fourth
Norfolk & The Kidnapping Cloud" by Paul Begg.

In this article, Paul Begg also exposes the whole myth for what
it is. Too bad the creators of the majestic papers only had a
rudimentary knowledge of UFO history and apparently had to rely
on mid-1960s pulp myth to brief the President of the United
States in the 1950s!

In the introduction to their "authentification" of the majestic
papers, on Joe Firmage's web site, the authoritarian team of
Woods and Woods write after their exhaustive and monumental
research into the documents:

"...and then is followed by three detailed annexes in the back
                containing 56 relevant facts."

How true! And the relevancy points to fakery and a majestic hoax
on the UFO community by those that do not have their ducks lined
up as far as UFO history goes and have to rely on pulp UFO
stories from the mid 1960s!

Thank you, Bill Chalker.
Thank you, Barry Greenwood.
And thank you Paul Begg and Fortean Times
