Kevin,

The failure is not with the readers but with the writer. Perhaps
it was late when you composed your first response, perhaps you
were weary.

The apparent intent and the received impression was that you
were faulting and diminishing the conference for not meeting
your standards of broad mindedness and expressing your views.

The most of us see the conference as sufficiently balanced if
still rife with those with whom we perhaps have become too
familiar.

The more callous in the fringes of our group would consider this
an opportunistic chance to promote your new book.

However, I have enjoyed your current works and look forward to
another book from you.

Bye... Ted..
