Nicolai Novichkov, ITAR-TASS >information agency <everything snipped> >Translation by Philip Kaploun. Novichkov is a well-known and respected aerospace reporter. Most of the text has the typical look of stuff that has been almost-translated into English from Russian, but some of it makes me think Kaploun may be more familiar with French than English terminology ( e.g., "furtiveness" instead of "stealthiness"). Or maybe he was doing it from a French almost-translation of the Russian original *** "pharabod@in2p3.fr" who broke the story to the Skunk Works list is French, so maybe he got the story from AFP (Agence France-Presse).
