Nick,

Back around 1990 when the Cooper - Lear activity was at a peak
there was a newsletter put out by Cooper that gave a pretty
clear look at his personality. I was pretty disgusted at the
low levels he operated on. I don't have them but maybe you can
find a copy that will show you what that man was really like. I
don't know if it is worth the space on UpDates but if anyone has
those newsletters they may want to post excerpts.

To me, the most disturbing thing would be when Cooper gave a
raving talk of nonsense at a UFO convention and I would see the
audience give a standing ovation. By the nature of Cooper's
paranoid talk and the audience response, it creepily gave me the
same disgust as if Adolph Hitler just gave a speech to the
nascent Nazi party. By his antisemitism proclamations alone,
Cooper would have made a good Nazi. I am sad that his paranoia
led to the police injury.
