I agree Mac, it doesn't have the tell tail signs of a classic
impact, the hole isn't round, no signs of fall-out from the
impact, the surrounding mountain seems totally unaffected if it
is an impact crater, which really shouldn't be the case.

To me it looks very much like a sink hole, after I was at you
site looking at the second crater you have there and then going
to have a look at the link to the 'Investigating the Allegations
of Indian Nuclear Test Preparations in the Rajasthan Desert'. I
too started to wonder if these craters might have been made by a
large explosions; the first one could have been made by an large
explosion beneath it.

Very interesting.

I still think that Mars was inhabited at one stage, but it seems
something went wrong, very wrong. I'm still in two minds as to
weather or not it was a Natural disaster or a man made one (So
to speak) I wouldn't be surprised one little bit if it turned
out the ET's that are hanging around here on Earth are from Mars
and moved into space because of a disaster of some kind, those
with the money and the technology went into space and the rest
made a mad dash for Earth the best way they could as I feel they
would have known a disaster was on the way. Maybe Noahs ark was
an space ark.
