I remember quite well your two messages about it on UFO UpDates.

His name is James McAndrew, co-author of the 1,000 pages
Roswell Report! First Lieutenant at the time, and later Captain,
as author of the second book of the Air Force, Roswell: Case
Closed, in 1997.
