I am not a Gehrmanism 'defender' per se, but I support his and others' being able to put forward theories without being labelled as 'cranks' etc. _That_ is what I object to. I actually disagree with Ed that interstellar travel by the visitors, or interdimensional or time travel, is impossible, but I will not try to insist that he is wrong, because it may turn out that _I_ am wrong...
