Well, your field is the one that would benefit.

I certainly don't see that choosing the best from among the
already known cases is "cutting corners."  But, it's your field,
not mine, so have it your way.  I was just trying to speed up
the sorely needed credibility improvement process.

They didn't wait until they had the Saturn V rocket to start the
space program, after all.
