Aside the generous and kind words you have granted me elsewhere
in this post, Jeff, and your stated resolve to end your part in
further discussion of the thread, I believe we would all benefit
by a closer examination of this polarity we both detect between
diverging camps of thought. Your absence in such an effort would
be a loss.

I detect in those you name a compulsion towards denial, but the
same compulsion is characteristic of almost anyone on earth when
first visiting a phenomenon outside their immediate frame of
reference or even that of waking from a vividly intense dream.

So, why does it continue with those we know have exposed
themselves, one would think, to so many good UFO reports, even
investigated some of them? Why have they had no personal UFO
experiences themselves, at least to the extent they can acquit
themselves of so much incredulity?

They did not come to the topic to penetrate to the truth. They
came to the topic to prove something to themselves, something
that finds anything more to this matter than churning excuses
for what an UFO isn't and that it might be more than they've
considered, aberrant.

Just like so many otherwise decent men came to the investigation
of the JFK assassination to prove, as Earl Warren flatly stated,
"this is not the kind of place where such things can happen (as
a conspiracy to murder a president.)"

Such minds cannot be brought to enough exposure of anything
threatening to their mental predilection, to realize change. And
they're here to prove, like Iago's devotion to bring down
Othello, there is nothing on earth more high-minded than
themselves... perhaps even, in all the Universe.

To such men I have offered the directions to places where they
are likely to find very close experiences for themselves, of the
UFO presence. Places where this kind of presence is ongoing.
They will not respond.

Mr. Keel can visit an area of such activity and emerge with
first-hand documented details of remarkable reports, even the
first incident reported of a female MIB. Simply because he has
the adventurous spirit of a truth-seeker and not that of a
fearful child trying to shake off a bad dream just out of denial
that it might, in any way be significant.

Perhaps ET has found a way to correct such pathology and awaits
our doing so. Perhaps he knows that otherwise, even out of the
best intentions, he can do more harm to the split- minded
savages that fear their own dreams, than good.

For the men you name, Jeff, share with us our own condition. We
are all in this together and nothing would be better ultimately
than we all benefit together. The mental loop they have, may
eventually become reflected in that of our own if we cannot
learn the one simple attribute, begin with the resolve to see
things as they are.

In that is a healing that permits no Dark Age and sets our first
real and earned step towards travel to other stars.
