Brad, Listers,

I have followed this whole thing for many years. As most people
know, I personally don't think that 'MJ-12' exists, however I
believe a group like that does. Once you suggest that MJ-12
doesn't exist, many people instantly connect the dots to say
Roswell didn't happen. This is not a correct interpretation.

The correct interpretation is that 'if Roswell is proven that it
did not happen' obviously that proves MJ-12 wrong. However if
the so called EBE MJ-12 document is proven to be phony, the
Roswell incident still could have happened. . That suggests that
whom ever created it used the information that was available
about Roswell to create the document. I think Brad alludes to
this where EBD suggests the crash was 75 miles NW of Roswell and
the actual mileage was 61 miles or something like that.

As was correctly pointed out the fact that Bill Moore was
talking about MJ-12 back in the very early 80s was well known.
Obviously he was fed all the MJ-12 stuff from the various AF and
other contacts. I had talked to Moore a number of times over the
years. Bill had talked about his MJ-12 book he was either
writing, or had written. Obviously we know now that it was the
same one that Pratt references. Prior to the public release of
the MJ-12 documents, he mentioned to me over the phone that it
was hoped that with the release of some incredible document that
full disclosure would happen and the coverup would unravel. I
think this went along with the theory that super secret faction
A want full disclosure, while super secret faction B wants total

I talked to him around the public release of the documents. When
I asked about the book, he said he had the manuscript out to
publishers and was hoping somebody would pick it up. At the time
I gathered that the book was a non fiction book about MJ-12.

The bottom line on MJ-12 is that until we have a actual,
verified, formerly classified document (which doesn't have the
history that Cutler Twining does) which mentions MJ-12 we really
can't say that it exist with reliability. Now when the 'real'
document comes up that mentions MJ-12, then we know a group
existed, but unless we have context as to what the group did or
was involved with , we still can't absolutly link it to Roswell
and crashed saucers.

Has anybody heard anything from Bill Moore these days. The last
thing I heard was second handed, and it was claimed that he
thinks much, if not all of this is/was an absolute load of
garbage that he was unfortunatly involved with.

Remember, even if MJ-12 is proven to be bogus, it still doesn't
mean that there wasn't a high level group that was involved in
these things. During my cold war history research I would
occasionally throw out some term connected to UFOS, such as MJ-
12. One formerly high ranking person told me that he had heard
of MJ-12 and that was just a ruse to keep people from digging
out the info on the real group. I was never able to verify this
with any one else, so I filed it away as interesting info. In
the same context I was interviewing another high level source
and I threw out Roswell. He said that he was personally aware of
very high level group of people, that have operated under
different names over the years that are involved with that.
Again, is this "proof" or "a smoking gun." Absolulty _not_, just
interesting information, no more, no less, that at the moment is
not verifable.
