And here I was about to give space.com such a good mark for a
somewhat fair and balanced review of the MUFON conference.

I think the quotes from Stanton Friedman were well handled and I
noticed that there was absolutely no giggle-factor involved
and for Space.com that's ing a lot.

All discussions about UFOs, ETIs here on Earth (or neighborhood)
along with the propensity of NASA to somehow fumble and mumble
over anything to do with Cydonia on Mars are banned to the
Phenomenon section of their own discussion board... and
repeatedly trying to get things like the above into the main
'Science' thread areas gets you banned... for life... no matter
the evidence presented or questioning their own personal SETI
section writers. So, I was almost about to say Wahoo! we're
making some progress with the mainstream. Seems every step
forward someone has to shove us back two or three steps.

Sad... but seems to be the brutal truth reaction of mainstream
media along with mainstream scientists, Even with finding DNA
helixes forming in the deepest cold of space and having
elctromagentic actions similar to our own neuron to neuron
activity across our synapes (holes) in our own puny human
brains... some mainstream scientists are enamored with their own
hubris of deciding _how_ any ETI will act or even look.

Mainstream media and mainstream scientists need to get outside
their boxes.

Bob... :D
