Some years ago there was an atmospheric scientist who was puzzled by photographic evidence via weather satellites of huge objects impacting the upper atmosphere at the poles that seemed to dissipate rather than having fiery re-entries. He deduced that these were hundreds or thousands of house sized chunks of ice that didn't survive the journey downward intact-each day. He was pooh pawed by the mainstream. Some of you might recall this from about 5-7 years ago. Maybe he was right and the chunks of ice we are hearing about now are from some of these larger chunks that didn't completely melt. Don Ledger
