I quoted Frank Drake because he was included in the debate on
the frequency of ET life. I could have used quotes from the
other scientists in the discussion. All but one scientist was
negative on star travel. It's about the same across the entire
scientific community. Check out the article just posted to the
list discussing Americans' knowledge of basic science. It's
hardly an endorsement by the scientific establishment of your

So what? My point is that the scientific community is skeptical
of star travel and use this skepticism to discredit all UFO. As
far as they are concerned, we should both in the same straight

Yes I did read it and have it here beside me as I type. It's
simple minded and not at all convincing.
