Attorney Alan Shore's client was a cognitive therapist at a hospital who is fired for saying he saw a UFO, aliens were here, and then imparting his belief in UFOs to his clients. The client was suing to get his job back. Unfortunately, the show portrays the therapist as a bit weird and I thought, here we go again. However, it turns out, the UFO the client saw was the one at O'Hare. To counter opposing council's portrayal of the client and subject matter as crazy, Shore gives the jury the O'Hare case in detail, pointing out that there were many credible witnesses to the UFO, and puts a tower controller on the stand, who confirms the multiple calls into the tower. So the client was bizarre, but the case was dealt with very seriously on a network program. I find that interesting. Probably more people learned about the O'Hare case watching Boston Legal than read about it in the newspapers. I wonder what writer/producer David E. Kelley's interest is in the subject. David Rudiak
