I have not put forth that proposition. My theory is that another
highly advanced technological civilization of non-humans evolved
on Earth millions of years before humans. Similarities would not
be because they developed in parallel with us, but would result
from convergent evolution at different times in the planet's

They did not develop in secret, since no one was around to
secret themselves from.

Planets are probably a "larval" stage that really advanced
civilizations forsake due to their instability. Just because
they evolved here does not mean they are still living here as a
group. Maybe they have outposts somewhere on Earth, maybe not.
Maybe they live on mother ships now and just hang around this
unstable old rock out of nostalgia. Who knows? I certainly

All I have been trying to do is put forth the proposal that the
ETH is not the only possible answer, and perhaps not the most
probable one.

Some want to discuss and think about this theory. Others are
doing their best to ape Joe Nickell as unreasoning and
unthinking skeptics. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a
duck, you know.....

I had expected more from this List.
