To anyone who knows the long, sorry history of UFOphobia
(starting Project Grudge's inept investigations and Menzel's
fanciful theories), the remarks above are astonishingly inept.

Apparently we are to believe "debunking" is a nonexistent
phenomenon imagined solely by ufologists looking for a bogeyman.
The problem with this notion - besides its inherent silliness -
is that good ufologists over the years have solved a fair
number of ostensibly puzzling reports. So ufologists are
debunkers? And it is ufologists - you know, the
pseudoscientists, the cultists, the crazies, the true believers
(just a few of the standard epithets thrown our way over the
decades) - who are the name-callers?

And with UFOs taken out of the equation before the inquiry
begins, what evidence would that be?
