If there is any truth in this story of a 5 kilometer, 600 m-wide
forest scar ploughed by a massive 200m object it should easily
be possible to locate and verify it on satellite images. I
wonder if that has been attempted and what the results were?
Even Google Earth free version shows Argentinian rainforest
detail - clearings etc - down to much less than a tenth of the
width reported. Small roads are very clearly visible. Can
someone supply even an approximate map reference?
