I believe that, whereas O'Hare used to be the busiest airport in
the U. S., the airport that serves Atlanta now enjoys that
distinction. I just saw a news clip on that very subject.

An observation on the O'Hare case... Isn't it interesting that,
despite the broad media coverage the sighting has generated, we
have not heard a thing from Congress, or from any other
government office, about the case! NUFORC has not received a
single query from any member of Congress, not a query from any
military or intelligence organization, and not even a quip from
any law enforcement agency. I find that to be even more curious
than the event itself! It suggests to me that individuals in
some of those offices may already know a great deal more about
the UFO phenomenon than they are revealing to 'mere' American
Citizens. They may prefer to let the story die a natural death,
rather than reveal their interest in the incident.

Alternatively, it could simply be that people in positions of
authority intuitively recognize when self-censorship is
advisable... The initial attempt by the FAA to deny that the
event had ever occurred is suggestive of that possibility, I
believe.

The absence of official queries leads me to wonder whether we
know all there is to know about the people who purport to be our
political representatives, and whether we can trust them. The
big question, in my view, is what the relationship might be
between the UFO phenomenon and our government. We already have a
difficult enough time, as it is, capturing public attention
about these things we call "UFOs". I invite you all to consider
the difficulty we would have in trying to awaken our fellow
citizens, were we to stumble upon cogent evidence that the
presumed occupants of these craft somehow are influencing events
on our planet through government channels!
