Mexico: New Development In The Hualahuises Animal Attacks

On the evening of January 10, it was reported that an unknown
predator attacked and killed six sheep, due to the strange and
violent manner of their deaths, at Rancho Las Hanacahuitas,
Municipality of Hualahuises, located in the state of Nuevo Leon.

Upon inspecting the carcasses of the dead animals, it has been
discovered that aside from having exsanguinated the dead sheep,
according to the rancher's own report, Mr. Ines Ramos says that
the creature "took the hearts out of two sheep" -- something
that has further mystified experts. For the time being,
municipal authorities are alert to any other strange event,
similar to this one, that could come about in the area. It was
believed at first that a puma could be involved, or wild dogs,
but this new evidence has confused experts, leading many to
suspect an attack by a legendary creature such as the
"Chupacabras".

This attack would represent the third time that similar events
have been reported on this ranch. The first event occurred
several years ago when only a single sheep was found dead. Then
two were found dead, and on this occasion the victims could well
reach seven in number.

The mystery continues.
