What "anger"? It's been a long time since anything about
ufologists seemed remotely worth the effort that is required to
sustain that particular energy-consuming emotion. In these days
of war, official criminality, and rampant venality, I have
plenty of other targets for my anger, and so should you. Stop
imagining things, Ed. If you keep that up, next thing we know,
you'll be accusing me of being a cryptoterrestrial who's trying
to cover up the existence of his tribe.

What I do feel where some self-identified ufologists are
concerned is impatience, accompanied by a larger boredom and a
growing sense that, in spite of the best efforts of some,
ufology is essentially going nowhere. I guess that's the sort of
thing that comes with having been around as long as I have been,
seeing the same foolishness come round and round again. (I
realized that some nadir had been reached when I was attacked
recently for being too concerned about the requirements of
science and scientific inquiry.)

My colleagues who've been around for a while - and those who
haven't but who know their ufological history - know exactly
what I'm talking about. And those who don't are welcome, if they
care to make the effort, to read my books or other writings,
where I lay out all the reasons why some approaches to ufology
and anomalistics appear sensible, others flawed, and the rest
either outright counter-productive or just plain crazy.

I have no obligation to waste a whole lot of time repeating
myself on this List for your benefit, just so that you can
demonstrate once again that nothing will ever change your mind.
My original remarks were addressed to those who may be reachable
and thus not to you.

Jerry Clark
