Bob, Listers

I probably wouldn't say that certain things are "indefensible"
because I have heard people go through the motions of defending
topics that are obviously warmed over bat guano.

Alien Autopsy is one that got defended for years and years, and
it turned out to be a hoax/swindle/fraud unloaded by certain
people and a talented FX guy. Reed/Raith and all that story...
Many stories from supposed 'intelligence community' insiders
whispering about this or that. None of which prove out, the
people don't check out, but that doesn't stop people from
passing the tales around.

As for the "ear-splitting rhetorical volume" I would observe
that we only hear that when somebody is trying to defend some
questionable story that has less then adequate proof, none the
less, they don't care about issues of proof because the story
tickles their ear and they absolutly "believe" the story teller.

Personally I await the next swindle to come along. I may be
wrong, but it will probably be in the summer or fall months.
Somebody will unload some incredible story, which naturally
can't be verified. The story tellers credentials likely will not
be able to be verified. The story will go all over UFO talk
radio and the Internet. Any problems with proof will be blown
off with the thought that the story was so important that
personality A, or talk show host B had to unload it without
checking or investigating anything. Thus the circle of lies and
decit in ufology is complete.

Cheers,

Robert
