For what it's worth I read your book and found it deeply thought
provoking. What struck me most was the children's description of
Our Lady and how it was disimilar to the established religious
images grounded in the culture of the day. The childrens
description of her as 1.1 metres tall with black eyes is in
complete opposition to the deeply entrenched religious culture
of the time.

I was also impressed by the curious reports accompanying the
arrival and departure of the being such as humming, the sound of
rockets, booms of thunder, roaring in the air, swishing sounds,
buzzing like bees and flashes of lightning, heard by many
witnesses again and again.

The various descriptions of the final sighting at Fatima are
also intriguing.

There were strange clouds that contained peculiar flashes, a
disk with a distinct and lovely border, luminous and lucent; a
dull silver disk but more luminous than the Moon; a polished
wedge as if it had been cut from a nacre of a conch shell; a
disk of polished glass; a metallic disk as if of silver; a disk
of steamed up crystal that had been illuminated from behind, a
disk of opaque glass. All very specific and difficult to
misinterpret as the sun.

Over 60,000 people witnessed the last sighting at Fatima which
was accompanied by a range of other anomalous events, yet the
bizarre concensus remains that these were ordinary events
misinterpreted. How ludicrous, condescending and narrow.

As Vallee states in the foreword, for those who neither choose
the religious interpretation of these events or the skeptical
scientific path, many important questions remain. Vallee also
states that if "detachment and critical analysis of this
difficult material" is practised it will do much to drive
genuine research forward. I wholeheartedly agree.

Thank you for writing this book.
