>>Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs)

>>This issue is no longer being investigated by the Defense Department.
>>As you may know, the United States Air Force began investigating UFOs
>>in 1948 under a program called Project Sign.

>>Later the program's name was changed to Project Grudge, and in
>>1953 it was changed again to Project Blue Book. On December 17, 1969,
>>the Secretary of the Air Force announced the termination of Project
>>Blue Book.

>>The decision to discontinue UFO investigations was based on a number of
>>factors, including reports and studies by the University of Colorado
>>and the National Academy of Sciences, as well as past UFO studies and
>>the Air Force's two decades of experience investigating UFO reports.

>>As a result of these investigations, studies, and experience, the
>>conclusions of Project Blue Book were:

>>* No UFO reported, investigated, and evaluated by the Air Force has
>>ever given any indication of threat to our national security.

>>* There has been no evidence submitted to or discovered by the Air
>>Force that sightings categorized as "unidentified" represent
>>technological developments or principles beyond the range of
>>present-day scientific knowledge.

>>* There has been no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as
>>"unidentified" are extraterrestrial vehicles.

>Many think that the Government and the Air Force have been lying
>or at best in constant denial of the UFO reality all these past
>years. But, stop and think for a moment. The last two points
>above may well have been the correct answer all along.

>If UFOs do not "represent technological developments or
>principles beyond the range of present-day scientific
>knowledge;" and show no indications of being "extraterrestrial
>vehicles;" What then does that leave us with?

>The only thing I can surmise from this is that UFOs are and have
>been for the last 60 years or so, vehicles constructed by some
>scientific or military organization on this planet.

>If that is the case, then the Air Force report has not been a
>lie, or even a denial, but a carefully worded report stating the
>truth.

>Are we able to accept the probability that some power on this
>planet has had the technical secrets some 60 years, which could
>have prevented the environmental crisis which threatens our
>world today? A technology which would have deprived those who
>have a choke hold on our very lives by using fossil fuels to
>further their own personal greed, while concealing the very
>energy source which could have moved our planet ahead and away
>from the threats which now hang over it?

>Tesla may well have been the social and scientific saviour of
>the people of this planet, had not those wishing to make large
>profits stood in his way and locked his knowledge away for use
>in their own time and for their own purpose.

Mike,

Mike, The US Air Force has been making these same Totally
misleading statements since 1969 when it announced the closing
of Project Blue Book. I dissect these in detail in a 5 page
commentary in TOP SECRET/MAJIC and also in my article
Government UFO Lies, at:

http://www.stantonfriedman.com

If flying saucers were made by somebody on Earth, they would
have been used in the wars that have been around. They haven't
been. Besides military pilots of our best interceptors have
specific instructions about reporting observations of
Unidentified Flying Objects.

How is it that building a high performance aircraft solves the
world's energy problem? Jet fighters use much more fuel than do
old prop planes.
