Hi Gildas,

No, it's an attempt to clear away the confusion that already
exists around the debris. Very few folks have actually taken a
close look at the FW photos. There is debris that can't be
explained by an ML307 or a weather balloon. Take a look for
yourself, especially the Bettmann copy.

This was directed by Army intelligence so it's hard to say what
they were thinking.
