The Open Minds Forum has a lengthy and ongoing discussion of
these images:

There are now three ostensibly independent sets of them obtained
from different locations. Not sure if the location of the first
set is known, the second and third sets are from Lake Tahoe and
Capitola CA, respectively. The "witnesses"/photographers for the
first two sets remain anonymous; the third has recently updated
his Flickr profile and provided the full name Rajinder

An interesting twist is that all three objects are different
configurations of a single basic design (a central ring with
vertical curving rods forming a shape like a lamp chimney, with
interchangeable horizontal 'spikey' appendages).

I have previously stated my preference to reject digital images
out of hand, but I have a certain grudging admiration for these,
as their clarity and realism is striking. I think what puts them
a little too far over the top are the 'heiroglyphics' (Roswell
notwithstanding). The witness accounts are also pretty fishy.

Nevertheless, I tip my hat to the hoaxer(s), who are getting a
good ride out of this one. If eventually proven to be genuine
ET, everyone will forget I said that.
