Thanks, Jay. Intriguing. Well, if it's a religious symbol how
about this: Three fingers folded down and one pointing up might
be a symbol of the Trinity - the three below being one in
heaven? Hmm. But why so cryptic about a basic article of faith,
and why stick a guy behind a tree? Seems more like an in-joke.
And as for the character of indeterminate gender - was it not a
tradition that angels, like many supramundane entities, were
androgynous? Maybe (s)he has come down from that saucer of yours. ;-)
