I believe the data being referred to is actually under the
control of the UFO Research Coalition, of which CUFOS, MUFON,
and the Fund for UFO Research are a part. It was collected in
the late 90's as part of the Abduction Monitoring Project, and
was funded by an external source only if the three groups would
work together on it. I believe the problem is that the data
really has no meaning without proper analysis and initial
reviews of the results don't seem to justify the expenditure of
funds to complete a full review of the information gathered.
We're talking about raw data points that would have to be
graphed and analyzed along with other graphs, which is no easy
task. To my knowledge, there was no "blip" in the data to zero
in on as an anomalous event.

A couple of years ago this was brought up and there was a
collection started to actually obtain the funding needed (which
is substantial), but that seemed to fade into obscurity. It's a
shame that this kind of effort becomes lost to funding needs,
but I think it would merely fill-in historical gaps and not lead
to a resolution of the questions at hand.
