Subject: New Official Brazilian UFO Files

Dear Listers:

I am glad to inform that a new batch of official UFO Files from
the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) has been made public as a result
of the Brazilian UFO Disclosure process initiated some years ago
after our campaign “UFOs: Freedom of Information Now”, conducted
by the Brazilian Committee of UFO Researchers (CBU) through the
Brazilian UFO Magazine, of which I am the editor.

As I have previously announced here and presented in conferences
in Phoenix, Los Angeles and Chicago, as well as in a few other
countries, that FAB has since 2007 been releasing all the files
that it claims it had in its possessions, doing so by decades.
First there were the documents for 60s, 70s and 80s. Then, last
year, the 90s and 2000s.

This is a determination made by brigadier Junichi Saito,
commander of FAB, through regulation GC3/551, about what I have
extensively published and commented here. It was issued August
last year and at that opportunity brigadier Saito also made
available the files for the years 2000 to 2009.

However, the files of year then in course, 2010, where released
only last week and is comprised of 7 documents and new cases
including some very important ones produced by commercial
airline pilots. These new files are here:

In the parent directory folder you will have the files for the
other decades:

Search the entire FTP address and you will have much more:

You can download it freely, of course, publish and spread all
over, but please do not forget to mention that the over 5,000
pages of files from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) has been made
public thanks to the very successful campaign “UFOs: Freedom of
Information Now”. However, we at the CBU still are not confident
that the files released are actually all that FAB has, and this
is why we keep the campaign going on strong.

In Brazil, differently that what happened in France and England,
for example, where the disclosure has been thanks to an
administrative decision, the opening of files is a result of
movement conducted by a number of Brazilian UFO researchers in
behalf of the entire Brazilian UFO Community.

This is serious and real Ufology, much beyond unproductive
