Hi, Listerions

Wasn't this same story, with similar "preliminary" findings,
circulating several months ago? How and why has it now
"resurfaced" (pun intended)?

After a little digging, I guess this is the answer:

See: http://tinyurl.com/3gywjpl

Seems, based on the earlier C/NET story at the link noted, that
this story first emerged in August of last year, but is only now
being cited again as Peter Lindberg, the guy behind the original
blip of publicity created by his "Ocean Explorer" ship's
discovery of the two "round" objects imaged by synthetic
aperture radar (SAR) from a sonar "drone" linked to the Swedish
group of salvagers' ship, is now saying that they
"...originally had no plans to return to the spot, but the spike
in interest from the public has led them to begin planning a
return trip." That "spike" was six months ago, btw.

From the SAR images, it seems much less likely a 'UFO', the term
Lindberg used initially (sounds like a publicist's promo), than
either an anomalous geological formation or possibly a submerged
archeological site. Maybe. I await breathlessly the next
exciting installment of Lindberg's belated return and subsequent
uncovering of something... mundane.
