Hello All,

That off-the-cuff reply (enabled because I've done several
searches of Fort's books in last few years) was my main
impression at the time of answering.

However, within a few hours was pointed to a short video,
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArU9ziZFNP8 - "We are definitely not
alone ..." which only held my interest because its introduction
was by Graham Sheppard - http://tinyurl.com/cxvxsdt - who was
mentioned in Tim Good's books.

It goes on to describe Roy Dutton's theories, based on extensive
research, concerning the timings and spatial patterns of UFO
arrivals: their `flight plans'.

Roy Dutton's theories are further outlined at:

'A Testable Astronautical Theory for UFO Events' - which is an
interesting read.

It also mentions the folk who've tested his theory, notably an
Irish astronomer Eamonn Ansbro, see:

"Irish astronomer says he has successfully tracked UFO's - Says
he can now predict when they will next appear"

So we have a progression, from Charles Fort in the early 1900's,
to Aime Michel in the 1950's, to Roy Dutton in the next few
decades, and last to Eamonn Ansbro in 2011. All addressing the
impression, gained from the evidence, that _some_ UFOs have
geophysical and chronologial patterns of arrival.

BTW - seems a caveat might be useful here:
Recently have seen some folk using an old quote from Jacques
Vallee, seen at:

to try to dictate what UFOs can and cannot be.

Someone - think it was Admiral Hill-Norton - looked at the
evidence and warned against falling into the trap of believing
that all UFOs are operated by one type of being. I'd go further
and extend the possibilities to include completely different
entities, even of different material composition.
