Yes, Don, every one should become aware of the development in cognitive processes. Especially, ufo researchers who rely only on "witness" reports. The human is - so far - the only recording devise involved in witness reports; that includes the interpretation of photos of distant objects claimed by the witness to be of ET origin. It could be argued that the subconscious mind is just filling in the gaps in witness' observation. How the hell would somebody be able to identify an object in the distant and know what it was. I just watched some space debris fall out of the sky. It happened in microseconds. Not much of observation time, but because on my background in astronomy, my mind filled in the details. Was that an accurate determination? Don't know. I went to my astronomy group looking for verification. Yeah, sure, I can understand the resistance to the results of new research into cognitive processes. We older adults became used to thinking that what we saw was in fact the reality of the situation.
