To contain a story from a town out in the middle of nowhere? And what military precedent can you cite for such an emergency action? I will state it again, float your containment theory past any military or cold war historian as to its plausibility before you authoritatively make statements. Or perhaps, a better way to state my point is that I doubt any Roswell researcher has bothered to consult a military or cold war historian but instead prefer to make blanket "authoritative" statements to fit within their alien saucer view.
