Same with Cpt. E. J. Smith and the rest of the >United Air Lines crew of July 4 or rocket scientists Dr. C. J. >Zohn, Curtis C. Rockwood, and John R. Kauke at White Sands >missile range on June 29. Add in Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wilmot in >Roswell on July 2, Navy Lt. William G. David, You can add the 1997 Phoenix sightings to your list. There is a French ufologist who claims that the huge triangle over Phoenix was staged by the military in order to make us believe in the ET presence. He has developed a very sophisticated explanation, with a sort of veil dragged by a plane or a blimp, and lights projected on it by lasers! >Apparently the Russians also played the same game, if you >believe the James Obergs of the world. And nobody on either side >who wasn't part of the "greatest lie" can figure it out after >six decades, not with their radar nets, gun cameras and jet >interceptors and all the rest. Only people like James Oberg and >James Carrion can penetrate the clever smokescreen of mass >deception. >So James, this whole great deception scheme of yours needs to >explain slightly more than just Arnold's sighting or Roswell, >doesn't it? Try tens of thousands of incidents from all over the >world that have been well-investigated, even previous to 1947, >such as the 1946 ghost rocket wave over Europe. >Basically you are proposing an incredible world-wide mass >conspiracy theory that might cause even hardened skeptics to run >into the arms of the ETH as being far more plausible. Yes, that's an amusing paradox. All these theories have the common goal of killing the ETH, but they are so crazy that that may eventually reinforce it.
