Yes, Ray, and in this regard I have often wondered whether a UFO 'expert' would be called in if aliens landed on the White House Garden for all to see. The expertise we have on UFOs is overwhelmingly book-learned or collected second hand, and speculative mostly, and would be made obsolete by a real live event and whatever events that follow... Perhaps a few experts who know about metals or exobiology or speed-of-light-travel might be useful to CNN or even the govt, but really, what we think we know would be rendered mythology when the new science of ETs begins in that garden.
