Why would any rational person believe that aliens would send radio signals to us using technology that was only 112 years-old? Marconi's first radio transmission across the Atlantic was in 1901. Stars just down the street are a billion years older than the sun. Not many scientists use slide rules any more. Lasers are not just better light bulbs... Technological progress comes from doing things differently in an unpredictable way. SETI is truly a Silly Effort To Investigate... Keeps the funding coming...
