Hello List, [Quotation Begins] "One remarkable reported physical effect involves interference in electrical circuits, causing car engines to cease functioning temporarily, radios to cut out or exhibit uncommon static, car headlights to dim or be extinguished for a short while, and, on occasion, car batteries to overheat and deteriorate rapidly. The significance of such physical interactions is obvious; they offer opportunity for physical measurement and the promise of `hard data'. Yet the treatment of such reports as `old wives' tales' or as the product of deranged minds or hoaxes has most unfortunately led to the almost complete absence of serious investigation and to the subsequent loss of the very `hard data' so tantalizingly accessible." [Quotation Ends] p. 145 `The UFO Experience - A Scientific Inquiry' http://tinyurl.com/a2q64nx by J. Allen Hynek That effect _is_ significant; far as I know we don't have aircraft or vehicles which will so thoroughly damp the electro- magnetic field in their local area. And maybe Hynek wasn't fully aware of the significance of another, more rarely reported effect: that of a marked change in the inertial field during a close encounter. See www.ufoupdateslist.com/2008/jul/m01-013.shtml which I'll give again so you can have the link - [Quotation Begins] Perk up Ed, The `majority of scientists' have always been wrong. Always, throughout history. In the `Black Box' video www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMWri3WaLk0#t=5m5s [link opens about 5 mins in] Dr Richard Haines (ex NASA) admits modern science doesn't know how the inertial compasses (gyros) of an airliner were affected by a nearby UFO. He said "We can't do that". Apparently `they' can. And that means they are not limited to light speed; anyone who can control inertia is immune to the mass-increase effect of Relativity theory. [Quotation Ends] BTW - as discussed on List earlier, those two effects, e.m. and inertial, would also strongly affect a human brain in the vicinity; causing mis-perception of sensory inputs: i.e. sound, sight (light, colours etc), balance or sense of gravity, and distorting awareness of the passage of time. BTW2 Personally think Hynek was a bit naive. I don't believe that Gov't has ignored or neglected the data - it's just that they didn't want anyone else to realise its significance. I.e. not only does inertial control offer f.t.l flight, it also enables impact avoidance. Cheers Ray D Listen to 'Strange Days...
