Hi Jerry,

Yeah, well, we don't see it as a joke. Just another inane
comment at Canada's expense.

The Sheriff - a female - of Hope a fictional town in Child's
book, Hope and Despair makes the remark. Perhaps it is a jab at
Americans who for the most part seem unaware of the huge country
north of the border. Some aren't even sure where it is.
